Imagine, it is the year 2098. Hundreds of millions of Christians have vanished in a happening called the rapture. The world has gone through a global religious war and more than two billion people were killed by atomic and chemical weapons. One world government rules by communist tyranny and brutality; all religion has been banned. The surviving 144,000 Jews are missing, their whereabouts a mystery. After the war, the earth went through a year-long nuclear winter. Millions more died from nuclear pollution and starvation. Weather patterns become so erratic that food has to be grown inside domed farms. One tribulation period follows another. A solar crisis erupts on the surface of the sun causing huge solar flares that reach half way to earth. So much cosmic radiation is released that every surviving man on the planet becomes sterile. The birth rate drops to zero. Two million people are dying per day and it is predicted that the human species will be extinct in thirty years. The vanity of man says that science and technology is the answer. Scientists attempt to save the human race by cloning, but becomes a business instead. Robots are built to do the manual labor that needs to be done and become more like people with each generation, eventually becoming cyborgs, half flesh, half machine. Generation Six Cyborgs, intended to be the new police and soldiers to combat the terrorist bombings and sabotage which occurs on a daily basis, are given artificial intelligence chips and become synthetic humans with super human skills. They declare their independence and form a legion of rogue cyborgs. More celestial events take place that render all of man's knowledge worthless. A new planet is discovered and is on a direct collision course with earth. Scientists attempt to intercept the planet to see if there is any way its course can be changed. All of the greatest minds in science fail to come up with a plan for saving the world from impending doom. A rebellion begins and evangelism breaks out as a young man, the only non sterile man on earth, begins his "Elijah" crusade to tell the world of the "Coming of the Lord." The story centers around this young man, his wife, their miracle child, and a female Generation Six cyborg sent to protect them from an unseen enemy and another Generation Six cyborg who's mission it is to kill them and prevent the re population of the earth.
